With a strong sense of commitment to each person that I work with, it is a privilege to support my clients with a wide variety of concerns. This ranges from getting through a challenging time to embarking on a process of personal development.
My priority is that you have a space in therapy where you feel able to explore and find a supportive way forward.
The style of therapy I offer is called 'Integrative'. This type of therapy includes a wide range of methods, underpinned by a breadth and depth of theoretical training. This range of ideas and possibilities form a 'toolkit' which can be tailored to approach your individual requirements. Therapy with me can involve looking at your past circumstances to reflect upon your experiences, or you may choose to work through your current situation with a goal oriented style making use of worksheets. I have seen the benefits of different approaches.
My experience includes working with challenges such as anxiety, depression, identity, sexual concerns, family and relationships problems, menopause, and chronic illness. I also specialise in supporting Autistic clients and family members in Neurodiverse families (parents & siblings of Autistic individuals).
Referrals to my practice come from NHS GP's, private GP referral and self-referred clients. My clients are based in the UK and also overseas. In addition to private practice I also work in the charitable sector, including extensive voluntary one-to-one covid support with the charity MIND, and currently working as a senior counsellor with the not-for-profit Help Counselling in Wiltshire.
